My future job

Hello to all my readers from around the globe, I'm your host Matías Osorio and today I will write about my future job or I would say the job that I would like to do when I finish my studies.

Since I am design student I would like to work as graphic designer, I would like to be an expert on Typography one reason why I want to be an expert on this field of design is because I read a book about a chilean designer, typographer, diagrammer named Mauricio Amster he was an absolut genius and I really enjoyed reading about him, so I started to investigate on my own about him and learned what Typefaces he used and started to use them as well in his style. Another reason and the reason that gave me the courage to say I want to do this with my career was that I took a class of Typography with the professor Roberto Osses. I learnt a lot about Typography, the history about some typographers and their typefaces, Type foundries of Chile and around the world and it really motivated me to pursue this area of design.

At the moment my favorite typefaces are Recoleta, Canilari and Australis. These typefaces were all designed and created by Chileans typographers, so I really like to support Chilean Typography.
